  • “I came to Nicky (Body Connect Movement) after a foot injury that made me immobile for about 4 months. My body was completely off kilter and I had lost a lot of strength and had, of course, gained weight. Nicky smartly designed my program to give me the best results with the long term in mind. We started by building my strength back and realigning. My right side was overdoing it from months of compensation and my left side wasn't firing up and was wobbly. Long story short I felt so safe in Nicky's expert hands. Her specific training in biomechanics clearly shines through in her knowledge of the body and how she approaches training.   • “Few things are more intimidating than going to the gym or trying to figure out what type of workouts are best for what you’re trying to achieve. It doesn’t help when you try and work with a personal trainer, but they push you too hard to quickly and end up getting you hurt, or don’t listen to what you’re trying to achieve.If these are issues you’ve come across while on your fitness journey, then I would highly recommend you schedule a consultation with Nicky. She is the first personal trainer I’ve worked with who’s really listened to what I wanted to achieve with my fitness and didn’t rush me into doing to heavy weights or things my body wasn’t ready for. She was very detailed in identifying my bodies strength and weaknesses and picking work outs that would help with those.Nicky provides super clear instructions and instructional videos when working with heron the different workouts and is very flexible if any adjustments are needed. She also really helps make the whole going to a gym and doing a workout routine waaaay less intimidating. I used to always skip strength and weight training because I was nervous about looking like I didn’t know what I was doing. After working with Nicky, I don’t have any hesitations when it comes to going into a gym and doing my workout.Nicky is also super friendly and fun to talk with.
